गडचिरोली पोलिसांची मोठी कारवाई : नक्षलवादी छावणी उद्ध्वस्त, शस्त्रसाठा व साहित्य जप्त

गडचिरोली,(प्रतिनिधी) दिनांक 12 मे 2025                                     गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यातील महाराष्ट्र-छत्तीसगड सीमेलगत भामरागड दलमच्या नक्षलवाद्यांनी उभारलेली तात्पुरती छावणी गडचिरोली पोलिसांच्या C-60 कमांडो दलाने उद्ध्वस्त केली. या कारवाईत दोन शस्त्रे, जिवंत काडतुसे, डेटोनेटर, वॉकी-टॉकी, नक्षली साहित्य व इतर सामुग्री जप्त करण्यात आली आहे.

काल (११ मे) दुपारी भामरागड दलमने नव्याने उघडलेल्या एफओबी कवंडे जवळ, म्हणजेच महाराष्ट्र-छत्तीसगड सीमेवर छावणी उभारल्याची खात्रीलायक माहिती गडचिरोली पोलिसांना मिळाली होती. त्यानुसार, अतिरिक्त पोलिस अधीक्षक (प्रशासन) म. रमेश यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली सुमारे २०० C-60 कमांडोंनी संध्याकाळी मोहिम राबवली.

आज (१२ मे) सकाळी परिसरात शोधमोहीम सुरू असताना, नक्षलवाद्यांनी पोलिसांवर अचानक अंदाधुंद गोळीबार केला. याला C-60 कमांडोंनी जोरदार प्रत्युत्तर दिले. जवळपास दोन तासांपर्यंत तीन वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी गोळीबाराच्या घटना घडल्या.

गोळीबारानंतरच्या शोधमोहिमेत खालील साहित्य हस्तगत करण्यात आले आहे:

१ इनसास ऑटोमॅटिक रायफल

१ सिंगल शॉट रायफल

१ मॅगझीन व जिवंत काडतुसे

डेटोनेटर

वॉकी-टॉकी व चार्जर

३ पिट्टू (नक्षलसामग्रीसह)

मोठ्या प्रमाणात नक्षली दस्तावेज व साहित्य

ही छावणी पूर्णतः उद्ध्वस्त करण्यात आली असून, गोळीबारात काही नक्षलवादी जखमी झाले असण्याची किंवा त्यांचे मृतदेह सहकाऱ्यांनी घेऊन गेले असण्याची शक्यता पोलिसांकडून वर्तवण्यात आली आहे.

A credible Int was received yesterday afternoon that Bhamragad Dalam has set up a camp exactly on MH CG Border near newly opened FOB Kawande.

Based on the Int, an Ops comprising of C60 commandoes led by Addnl SP Admin M Ramesh (approx 200 commandoes) was launched yesterday evening. Today morning when they were doing the area search, they were fired indiscriminately by Maoist formations which led to strong retaliation by the C60. Exchange of fire with Maoists happened intermittently at three different locations over a period of 2 hours.

*Area search post EoF has led to recovery two weapons – One automatic weapon INSAS and one Single Shot Rifle, one magazine, several live rounds, detonators, one radio, 3 pitthus, WT charger and large amount of Naxal literature and belongings*. The camp has been destroyed by C60 commandoes completely. Chances of Maoists getting injured / killed and being dragged away by other Maoists cannot be ruled out.
