On the occasion of Lokseva Hakk Din (Right to Public Services Day), a QR Code Library was inaugurated at the Sironcha Tehsil Office by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mr. Sandesh Naik. The initiative has been developed under the guidance of Tehsildar Mr. Nilesh Honmore with the support of the Masoom Department.
This digital library provides citizens with easy access to information related to various government services, processes, and applicable fees through scannable QR codes. By using their mobile phones, citizens can conveniently scan the codes to receive the required information, thereby promoting transparency and improving administrative efficiency.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Naib Tehsildar Mr. Srinivas Totawar, Mandal Officer Mr. Dhatark, as well as all the officers and staff of the Tehsil office. During the event, Tehsildar Mr. Honmore demonstrated the utility of the QR codes and encouraged citizens to make full use of this digital facility.
As part of the program, key provisions of the Right to Public Services Act were read aloud to raise awareness among attendees. This initiative marks a progressive step towards digital governance and transparent administration at the grassroots level in Sironcha.
